My projected opening lines before the official opening lines are released
tonite. On tuesday evening each college football season , I come back and
evaluate my projected lines vs. the opening lines (or combined average with
first lines sunday evening) in my EarlyBirds write ups, and see if there are
any discernible discreprencies on these lines vs. the opening/first lines .
One of my better weeks on Tuesday's EarlyBird plays, going 8-2, and being a victim
of one of this year's aberration games, and what do ya know, it involves Mississippi
State, who was involved in the inter-class Aberration Game of the Year (a sterling
9-7 home loss to a pack of Maine Polar Bears). I like singling out aberration games (such as yesterday's
Memphis' woodshed courtesy Cincy, who lost to Army recently ) for the garbage heap when
looking at who has done what on what side of the ball and such. And it looks like we keep
one team on top of both my RVP and SSI heaps, as TexasElPaso on the road rolls up
400+ yds, 126 return yards, and 40 + points again.
